About Tendernest
Tendernest was founded by two registered nurses, combining extensive experience and knowledge in mental health, behaviours that challenge and complex care. With decades of combined frontline and leadership experience across acute and community settings, they witnessed firsthand the gaps within the care services and where people were being failed.
It is from these roots that Tendernest was born, a service that not only provides exceptional support, but offers a tailored, person-centred approach that prioritises a person’s respect, dignity and their individual journey, while also empowering them to regain their confidence and foster their independence.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create nurturing, inclusive and empowering environments where individuals feel truly safe, valued, respected and most importantly, at home. We strive to work in collaboration with individuals, their families and relevant professionals within the MDT to develop dynamic, person-centred support plans tailored to the individual and their choices, enabling them to regain their independence and support any goals they may want to pursue, to ultimately live fulfilling lives within their community.
